About Us
Learn who we are and why we exist
Anaalie Legacy Foundation
Anaalie Legacy Foundation (ALF) is dedicated to improving the lives of older persons by promoting dignified ageing and providing support to those living with dementia and those facing vulnerability due to poverty and neglect.
Based in Tamale, Ghana, we work with families, caregivers, and communities to create a more compassionate society for our elderly loved ones.

“Every elder deserves to age with dignity”
Vision & Mission
Our Vision
A Ghana where older persons—especially those living with dementia—receive compassionate care, dignity, and support within their families and communities.
Our Mission
To promote the dignity, wellbeing, and quality of life of older persons by supporting people living with dementia, empowering family caregivers, and strengthening community-based care systems.

Too often, ageing comes with silence, struggle, and abandonment.
Older persons who once nurtured families and built communities are left without care, while those living with dementia are misunderstood and unsupported.
ALF exists to restore dignity, provide support, and remind society of its responsibility to care — because how we treat our elders reflects who we are.
“Caring for those who once cared for us.”
