Abdul Karim Hakim

Digital Systems and Communication Lead

Abdul-Karim Hakim is a passionate technology and digital innovation enthusiast dedicated to using digital solutions to create positive social impact. He is currently a Level 300 student pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science at the University for Development Studies (UDS), Nyankpala Campus, and serves as the President of the PSSA for the 2026!2027 academic year.

As the Digital Systems & Communications Lead (Volunteer) at Anaalie Legacy Foundation (ALF), Abdul-Karim supports the organization's digital presence, communication systems, and technology-driven initiatives that enhance outreach, engagement, and operational effectiveness.

His leadership journey began early, serving as School Prefect throughout his Primary, Junior High, and Senior High School education, experiences that nurtured his discipline, teamwork, and commitment to service. He has since continued to demonstrate strong leadership, innovation, and a passion for community development.

Abdul-Karim has contributed to the development of innovative digital solutions, including Farm Diary, Eco Credit, and UniVault, with a focus on sustainability, digital transformation, data management, and community empowerment. He has also supported initiatives promoting climate action, youth empowerment, sustainability, and digital innovation, collaborating with organizations such as Better Dream Foundation and Pan African Vision Foundation.

Through his work with ALF, Abdul-Karim is committed to leveraging technology, strategic communication, and digital systems to strengthen community impact and advance the Foundation's mission of promoting dignified ageing, compassionate care, dementia awareness, and the wellbeing of older persons.
